For this historic home, lovingly restored by a retired couple from Maryland, we crafted a kitchen and pantry that blend modern organic elegance with a hint of Mediterranean charm. The expanded kitchen area, now a vibrant centerpiece, showcases custom two-toned cabinetry in light beige and muted olive. Highlights include a tapered vent hood, a handmade tile backsplash, and a floating shelf for essentials. The massive 10-foot island, complete with a built-in countertop table, is a standout feature, adorned with blackened brass pendant lights that enhance its modern flair.

The adjacent dining area boasts a 3-tiered circular chandelier, while a Samsung Picture Frame TV adds a touch of contemporary convenience. The design seamlessly integrates the pantry, featuring rich brown floating shelves and ample quartz countertop space. Archways and a mix of brushed brass and matte black hardware tie the space together, creating a functional and inviting environment perfect for the couple’s extended family gatherings.
